Originally from South Auckland, I was educated in Hamilton.

Prior to 2010 when I started my own business providing expert governance and financial management advice to local government I  have been employed by:

· Waitaki District Council

· Capital Trusts Ltd (Management company for 5 Wellington Licensing Trusts)

· Capital Coast Health (Wellington Hospital)

· Audit New Zealand

· Papakura City Council

· Pukekohe Borough Council

 

I am the Independent Chair of the Clutha District Council  and Waimate District Council Audit and Risk Committees, I also Chair the Otago Chamber of Commerce - North Otago Advisory Committee.  In 2015 I was a member of the Rules Reduction Taskforce.

 

Living with my wife and daughter in Oamaru on a few acres.  Still playing senior cricket, and loving it.
